Lindsey Goldaper earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tampa where she majored in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Applied Dance. She grew up in Connecticut and trained at the Academy of Dance located in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts under the ownership of JoAnn Shepard Jebb.
She primarily studied styles including Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet and Modern. Prior to college, she danced for 15 years, 8 of which she was a competitive dancer. She had multiple top ten placements over the years from competitions such as Starbound, Starquest, Showstopper, American Dance Awards, VIP Dance, U.S.T.D and more. She also received regional titles including Miss Headliners and Fire & Ice as well as numerous judges awards where she was recognized for her technique and performance.
During her time at UT, she participated in three dance shows a year, choreographed four pieces in two years, received the Dancer of the Year award from the College of Arts and Letters, as well as Choreographer of the Year and Outstanding New Dancer Awards from the Dance Department.
Lindsey currently coaches the University of Tampa's dance team and has led them to multiple finals placements in the Jazz Divsion II category at NDA Collegiate Nationals. She continues to educate and choreograph for students and dance teams in the Tampa Bay area while continuing her passion for dance as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleader. She is also on staff with Revel Dance Convention where she's given the opportunity to travel and spread her joy for dance across the United States as an Event Manager.
Lindsey loves working with dancers of all ages and abilities and is ready to continue to share her love and passion for dance at DEA.
