Mallory Swanick is originally from Florida, where she received the basis of her dance training. She trained under the artistic direction of Julio Montano and Gissell Durand before further pursuing contemporary ballet. Mallory completed the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program where she spent two years training with the contemporary ballet company in San Francisco, California. Mallory holds her B.S. in Health Sciences as well as her M.S. in Entrepreneurship. She is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique. Mallory is currently on faculty with Groove Dance Competition as a convention teacher and adjudicator.
Throughout the years, Mallory has performed works by David Harvey, Carmen Rozestraten, Maurya Kerr, Sandrine Cassini, Gregory Dawson, and Sidra Bell. She has had the opportunity to learn from notable artists such as Alonzo King, Arturo Fernandez, Desmond Richardson, Shirin Keyani-Rose, and Jon Ole Olstad. Mallory has spent her summers with Complexions Contemporary Ballet and LINES Ballet.
Mallory involves herself in the dance community to push herself and others to delve deeper into unknown territory, with the intention of paying inspiration forward.
