The Extreme Team is the official name for Dance Extreme Academy's competitive program. Within the "Extreme Team" there are 4 teams: Prep Team, Performance Team, Premiere Team and the Elite Team. All of our teams are structured to best suit our dancers based their age, experience, abilities and commitment level!
The Prep Team is our beginner dance team consisting of 3-6 year olds. These dancers will represent Dance Extreme Academy at local community performances and 1-2 local competitions!
The Performance Team is for the dancer who longs to perform with an interest in enhancing their training but at a more comfortable pace than our Elite Team. The Performance Team will represent Dance Extreme Academy at local community performances, 1-2 local competitions and will have the opportunity to attend conventions, masterclasses and intensives as well!
The Premiere Team is for the dancer who may have experience in dance but would like to undergo additional training and uphold the Elite Team requirements for a smoother transition onto the Elite team in the future. These dancers will also represent Dance Extreme Academy at local community performances, 1-3 local competitions and will have the opportunity to attend conventions, masterclasses and intensives. Dancers on the Premiere Team may also be chosen to participate in Elite Team routines.
The Elite Team is a group of dancers that have the urge to commit and perform at a serious level. The Extreme Team represents Dance Extreme Academy at 4-5 competitions, 1-2 conventions and several hours at summer intensives a year. Dance Extreme Academy's goal is to instill a level of professionalism and training that will help members of the Elite Team to successfully go out and audition for summer intensives or dance programs at any university. Our Elite Team dedicates numerous hours a week to training with an emphasis on ballet.
We are not only a team but a family. We welcome anyone who wants to be part of a family to audition for our Extreme Team program! Our team provides opportunities for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

Jazz based audition
Attire all black, hair neatly pulled back & jazz shoes preferred.
AGES 7-10 - 10:30AM-11:30AM (Check in begins at 10AM)
Flexibility/Progressions, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary & Hip Hop (Mandatory)
Attire is all black with proper dance shoes per each dance style. Hair must be neatly pulled back.
AGES 11+ - 11:30AM-2:00PM (Check in begins at 11AM)
